Our delivery service
It’s important to us that from the moment you choose your furniture or accessories to the day that you take delivery everything goes as smoothly as possible.
Prime Furniture's direct home delivery specialists are trained to appreciate the furniture you have purchased and the work of the master craftsmen who make it. As a result, they are extremely careful in their handling of your furniture at every step of the delivery process. Their goal is to make sure that you are a satisfied customer on delivery day.
Delivery charges
Kerbside Delivery - £49 - (One man delivery team, kerbside delivery to the closest location a 3.5 ton Luton Van can get to your property.
2 Man Delivery Service - £99 - (2 Man delivery team, furniture delivered into ground room floor of choice)
Delivery is from Monday to Friday 7am-7pm
Ourselves and our Delivery Partners will do our best to arrange the most convenient delivery time for you (bearing in mind our delivery routes and warehouse operating hours).
Estimated time until delivery
You will be allocated a delivery date within approx. 5-15 working days if a stocked sofa, and contacted accordingly. Our delivery time is up to 6 weeks from date of order, on very rare occasions when items are out of stock, delivery may take longer.
Delivery day
Once your goods have arrived, a member of our Direct Home Delivery Service Team will be in touch in order to arrange your delivery day to suit your needs.
On the delivery day, our Direct Home Delivery Specialists will:
- Kerbside Delivery - deliver your furniture to the closest point our 3.5 Ton Luton van can get to your property. OR if taking the 2 Man Delivery Service then they will deliver you furniture where you would like it in your ground room floor of choice;
- make sure that everything is exactly as you want it.
- ask for a signature of the (POD) Proof of Delivery which states that you have received the items as per your order and in the expected new condition.
- Be prepared to produce your ID/Driving Licence and Credit Card used for Purchasing the items as a measure to counter-fight fraudulent purchases.
Failed delivery during a scheduled drop.
When ordering bulky items like sofas and beds it is the customers responsibility to take careful measurements of their property's door openings and entryways so that the drivers can safely bring the item inside the customers property.
In case the (a) items did not fit or the attempt to bring them into the property seems to be unsafe/dangerous for the integrity of the drivers, the property, or the item itself, the drivers have the right to stop the delivery attempt and can/will return the item to our warehouse and we will mark the delivery as a failed delivery attempt.
A failed delivery attempt could also be marked when the (b) customers are not present or available to accept their orders during the scheduled delivery date or delivery window that was announce to them.
A third reason a delivery could be marked as a failed delivery attempt is when the customers have changed their mind and (c) cancelled the order after the item was dispatched or routed with the delivery partners.
The minimum cost for the failed delivery of bulky items with any 2 man service will be charged at £150. The delivery cost for larger orders may be calculated as a percentage of the order (e.g 10% of £1600= £160 Delivery Cost).
Where we deliver
Prime Furniture delivers to mainland England, Wales. Where the delivery area is more than 40 miles away from our distribution centre, BS3 5QU, for logistics reasons we estimate an additional 1-2 weeks will need to be added on to the originally quoted delivery time.

PLEASE NOTE - Some products vary in the delivery method, and where this is the case we make this clear in the product information. For example, some accessories are delivered by courier.
Disposal of old furniture
We now offer a chargeable disposal service with our specialized 2 man delivery partners. If your preloved item is still in good shape, with no damages & marks we can take this away for you but you would need to contact one of our team prior to the delivery day to check if your item is something that we can take for you.
