🚚 Our Delivery Service
It’s important to us that from the moment you choose your furniture or accessories to the day you take delivery, everything goes as smoothly as possible.
Prime Furniture’s direct home delivery specialists are trained to appreciate the furniture you have purchased and the work of the master craftsmen who make it. As a result, they handle your furniture with great care at every step of the delivery process. Their goal is to ensure that you are satisfied on delivery day.
💷 Delivery Charges
The following charges apply within 20 miles of our showroom (BS37 4AU).
- Kerbside Delivery – £49: One-man delivery team. Kerbside delivery to the nearest point accessible by a 3.5-tonne Luton van.
- Two-Man Delivery Service – £99: Two-man delivery team. Furniture delivered into your ground-floor room of choice.

Deliveries take place Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
We and our delivery partners will do our best to arrange the most convenient delivery time for you (bearing in mind our delivery routes and warehouse operating hours).
⏰ Estimated Time Until Delivery
If the item is in stock, you will be allocated a delivery date within approximately 5–15 working days and contacted accordingly. Our standard delivery time is up to 6 weeks from the date of order. On very rare occasions, when items are out of stock, delivery may take longer.
☀️ Delivery Day
Once your goods have arrived, a member of our Direct Home Delivery Service team will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date.
On the delivery day, our Direct Home Delivery Specialists will:
- Kerbside Delivery: Deliver your furniture to the nearest accessible point for our 3.5-tonne Luton van; or
- Two-Man Delivery: Deliver your furniture to your chosen ground-floor room.
- Ensure everything is as you expect.
- Request your signature on the Proof of Delivery (POD), confirming that you have received your items as per your order and in new condition.
- Ask you to produce identification (e.g. driving licence) and the credit card used for purchase, as a precaution against fraudulent transactions.
⚠️ Failed Delivery During a Scheduled Drop
When ordering bulky items such as sofas or beds, it is the customer’s responsibility to take careful measurements of door openings and entryways to ensure that the drivers can safely bring the item into the property.
A delivery may be marked as failed in the following cases:
(a) The items do not fit, or attempting to bring them into the property would be unsafe or could damage the item, property, or endanger the drivers. In such cases, the drivers have the right to stop the delivery attempt. The item will be returned to our warehouse, and the delivery will be recorded as a failed attempt.
(b) The customer is not present or available to accept the order during the scheduled delivery date or delivery window that was communicated to them.
(c) The customer changes their mind and cancels the order after the item has been dispatched or routed with the delivery partners.
The minimum charge for a failed delivery of bulky items using any two-man service is £150.
For larger orders, the delivery cost may be calculated as a percentage of the order value (e.g. 10% of £1,600 = £160 delivery cost).
📍 Where We Deliver
Prime Furniture delivers to mainland England and Wales.
For delivery addresses located more than 40 miles from our distribution centre (BS3 5QU), please allow an additional 1–2 weeks on top of the quoted delivery time for logistical reasons.

♻️ Disposal of Old Furniture
We offer a chargeable disposal service through our specialist two-man delivery partners. If your pre-loved item is still in good condition, with no damage or marks, we may be able to take it away for you. Please contact our team prior to your delivery day to confirm whether your item qualifies.
